Period poverty is when someone does not have reliable access to menstrual products because of financial barriers. It is a significant issue in our community and across the United States. To help address period poverty in our community, we operate Free Period Pantries throughout the Capital Region. These small, outdoor, weather-protected boxes are stocked with free menstrual products and are available 24/7 to anyone who needs them.

Last year, we distributed over 63,000 products through our pantries. We are so grateful to our amazing volunteers, donors, and host organizations, but demand remains high, prices are rising, and our supplies are running low.

So, we are once again asking you to help us keep our shelves full, so we can continue to fight period poverty in the Capital Region, one product at a time.
